Pineapple Coconut Sweet Chili Shrimp

To me food is a form of expressing love. Consuming nourishing food is a way to love and respect our bodies. Making nourishing food, feeding others, and celebrating with others…that’s love! There is no better feeling than gathering around a homemade meal you’ve prepared and sharing it with your friends and family.

Plan “date nights” or “game nights”, introduce delicious, healthy meals to those around you. Food is a way to connect with others and grow relationships, great conversation always happens around the dinner table!

I have laid out an easy, do it yourself, dinner recipe for you to plan for your next date night!

 

INGREDIENTS:

Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons coconut cream

  • 3 tablespoons pineapple sweet chili sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sriracha

 

Grilled Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 slices pineapple, cut into ½ pieces

  • Skewers

 

Tea

  • 4 packets of Celestial Peach Tea
  • Half to a whole orange sliced
  • 1 tablespoon stevia (if you want it sweeter)

 

DIRECTIONS:

1 | In a medium bowl mix together the Sauce ingredients.

2 | Toss shrimp in with sauce, save remaining sauce for later.

3 | Add shrimp and pinapple onto skewers, grill over medium heat. Brush remaining sauce on shrimp and enjoy!
